Sanders and Trump and the Corporate Party Collapse

The neocons imploded and are thankfully being chased off the public stage and the neoliberals are in the process of collapsing too. Their legacy is a pile of paper money, a much bigger pile of debt, and human feces and needles on their home city streets.

It's pretty comical and weird that Bernie Sanders is the "frontrunner" of the blue party. There are commies in humanities departments all over the United States that have been brainwashing middle class kids for a few decades at least. I've run into people who went to Cuba for a semester, for example with some commie history prof to see how great it was to be a commie. It's pretty surprising how many people they influenced, so now, some people see a completely failed horror show system as a serious alternative to the shitty corporate government we have now, and they see Bernie Sanders as a viable Presidential candidate.

The commies probably can't reform the blue squad into a viable populist party because they built their coalition on race and anti-white people racism. The oligarchy behind the current version of the GOP's faux populism did a much better job of cloaking themselves and aligning with the white majority population.

An interesting aspect of the current reformulation of politics in the US is that the neocon/lib corporatists are slowly and steadily losing their grip on the governing institutions in the United States in spite of being in control of giant piles of paper assets. The legal and government bureaucracies are necessary to prop up the "value" of that paper pile and consume a huge portion of the resources the US produces.

If there's a total loss of credibility of institutions like the CFR or Ivy League schools, how long will their paper assets maintain "value"? The corporatocracy is still heavily entrenched and sucking up the lion's share of resources and  people's energy in the United States, but it seems like it's lost the confidence of the people.

Babylonian Mysteries Bullshit--How Did it Survive So Long?

I think the Bible was authored by people who are railing against Babylon--for thousands of years. Here we are, thousands of years later with Babylon cropping up again. How is it possible it's persisted for such a long time. There's a handful of languages that have been around for a similar span of time, but not much else.

New religions, like Scientology, are modeled on the initiatory rites, levels, and schemes of mystery religions. In a span of a handful of decades, the corporate religion of scientology amassed a huge pile of assets. Even something totally bizarre and criminal like the Aum Shin Rikyo death cult managed to amass a fortune in a short span of time.

The scams and schemes and corporate body are one thing, but the rites, symbols and ideology are another. How would all that babylonian religion stuff, much of which is obscure and useless nonsense persist? It's really quite weird. What's the value for the insiders in knowing all about the pantheon of "gods" and all their weird symbols? What's the mechanism of preserving and transmitting, and error correcting that pile of random nonsense factoids?

The Catholic Church is an "old religion" compared to Scientology. It seems to be overtly "christian" but is really a Babylonian Mystery cult on the inside, and was from the very start since it mutated from a Roman Empire institution into a European Empire building institution. Arguably it mutated again with the British Empire and Masonry.

It seems like a major part of that cult is pederasty. If people in the west knew that child rape was part of the doctrine of the leadership of the church, it'd probably be destroyed brick by brick--although maybe today people are too dull and disconnected to really have any such reaction.

Anyway, how could these institutions maintain their own doctrinal discipline over such a long span of time?

"Dark Ages"

Every once in a while "civilization" collapses. That is global trade and the corporate state, and corporate entities collapse. All the glitz and propaganda and industries associated with the corporate state can vanish for generations.

The corporate civilization is pretty unstable almost by definition. It's a replacement of natural systems by some alien contrivance. It's pretty interesting to contemplate where the impetus for it comes from. Would deer, if given the chance, try to create a deer world?

The Wuhan Plague is a reminder that civilization is constantly sowing the seeds of its own destruction. It either came about from a mutation of some disease that is carried by other animals, or is a product of a bioweapons lab, which seems plausible.

Global trade accelerates the spread of disease, not only among humans, but among animals and plants too. In just my lifetime three species of trees that span the Americas have come under pressure from pests introduced through global trade.

The global trading corporate civilizations come to rely on a web of scattered resources... a proverbial house of cards. At the same time, they create more sources of shock to that foundation. The departure from nature's ways, the Tower of Babylon, inevitably falls.

The notion, though, that nothing happens in the "dark ages" is pretty stupid. It's akin to the notion that nothing happened prior to written history, a big collection of the lies of liars, for the most part. There's a huge emphasis on corporation civilization in school history classes, because history is really the product of corporate entities.

A focus on material or family culture, instead of the "arts and letters", would probably be a truer representation of human history. Making things. Learning trades and techniques like canning or spinning is probably a closer reflection of the productivity and creativity of human beings.

Infallible Retards

The human condition is really about muddling through life on sketchy, incomplete information. People are also prone to fantastical delusions about immortality and "perfection", which are concepts that seem to live entirely in the negative space of our perceptions of the natural world, or that arise from extrapolation of our artistic and practical endeavors.

It seems that there's some element of human beings who wish to replace the messy natural world with their version of "perfection" and their vision. Unfortunately, these people are often confidence men in the most basic sense. Maniacal salesmen with a "dream" for how the world should be can create cults or religions and lure thousands or millions of people to commit acts of wanton destruction and depravity.

The commies are one of the most recent examples. In one of the best demonstrations of how stupid and short-memoried people are, marxism has a pretty strong grip on universities and colleges across the western world in spite of being a blood soaked mega failure. Fascism of the 20th century was another similar failure. The presentation of the "state" as a theatrical, larger than life god, with all its employees in fancy outfits concealed yet another monster.

Simple, basic Christianity is a pretty good match for this aspect of human nature and a big improvement on the classical world and its cults and spectacles.

Mystery Religion and "Elites"

A handful of times in my life I willfully denied my inner guiding voice and followed a wicked path. In each case, I was subsequently haunted with regret. One unfortunate aspect of that form of guidance is it's only negative. It's like a fence rather than a path. Being human is mostly about muddling through on incomplete and missing information. We don't know why we're here on Earth.

Religions often pretend to have answers. One of the greatest religious scams is to offer those answers in sequential fashion--the levels and degrees of mystery religions is a really persistent scam. Another great scam is to initiate the wealthy via degenerate or spectacular rites like orgies and human sacrifices and to make them into high priests and keepers of the secrets.

A cult like NXIVM is a great modern example. A rando dude with some jewish booze mafia money setup a sex and blackmail ring like Epstein's except for marks who like adult women. He convinced a bunch of attractive actresses to have sex with him and warped their minds to the point they were getting his initials branded onto their nether regions.

The proliferation of mystery religion among "elites" and extreme religious scams is really common. It gives them something to do and plays on their narcissism. The current formulation, and probably a persistent formulation is that the secret is "men can become gods". At the end of the reign of the Tsars, their household was lousy with mystery religion conmen.

I think it's plausible that there are mystery religion cons that persist generation to generation and stack up resources. It looks like hollyweird is probably a long running organized mystery religion con troupe. It seemingly popped int existence ex nihilo. The scam of "stars" and grooming attractive men and women actors into depravity was already tried and tested.

When the mystery religion bullshit spills out into the open, that's probably a sign of serious instability ahead. In the USA, at least, there's still some semblance of propriety that keeps the worst practices of the degenerate "elite" at bay.

Coronavirus alt Media Coverage

It's hard to know what's really going on with the Wuhan Plague just like it's really hard to know why the US is at war in Iraq, or what is really going on in syria. Usually there's more raw information available through the alt-media, but there's a corresponding amount of informed speculation.

It seem like the virus is probably relatively dangerous and contagious and the number of people infected is higher than reported by the Chinese commies. I think it's harder to infer anything from the actions of a totalitarian central planning government, though. The notion that  the virus must be more dangerous than reported because the commies quarantined such a large area and so many people is wrong. Commie governments are even dumber and more prone to arbitrary and nonsensical actions than western "democratic" regimes.

The real test will be what happens to the westerners who were exposed to the virus. Will it spread among the group of people who were exposed to those folks? If that happens, then it's SHTF time. I'll probably just stock up on supplies and hunker in the bunker for a few weeks until this shit blows over.

Future Political Parties in the USA

I think there will be three political parties after Trump wins the 2020 election. It's pretty hard to imagine any of the current democrat candidates winning, unless something unusual happens between now and then. I don't plan on voting for any of the current candidates by the way. They all suck ass. Trump is closest to an America First candidate, though.

Anyway, the democrats will split into the Commies and the Corporate/SJW fraud party. The GOP will be the white people/yeomanry party. The overlap of the commies and the corporate SJWs voter base will probably keep them out of the presidency for a long time.

The amazing thing is there are still quite a few old school populist democrats from states like Ohio. They'll probably morph into "republicans".

Role of Corporate Entities in Scam Based Society

The spirit of the law people in the US have been scammed for at least a century by a group of grifters. One of the key tools they use in spreading lies is corporate entities that basically launder opinion and a political point of view into fact. One of the great examples of this is the CFR. Really, you can rattle off a list of them without too much effort--but the media, and academia are the most influential. The individual "star" spokesmen who appear regularly in the media regurgitate this corporate voice.

A Scam Based Society

People who believe they are governed by the spirit of the law can't get along with people who believe only in the letter of the law. They have a fundamentally different understanding of reality. The people who believe in the spirit of the law believe in a transcendent reality where there's an essentially benevolent nature and god who's ultimately in control and that our role as humans is to seek the path that approximates nature. The letter of the law people are liars and cheats because they think nature is damaged and fallen and that requires cheating and lying.

The current iteration of the United States is an entirely scam based society that's losing touch with natural law on a daily basis. An army of little demons has been gnawing away at the connection with reality for at least a century, if not more. The metaphor of the "They Live Glasses" is probably more than just a fictional story. At some point the people will see the scam en masse and then will seek a return to the natural law.

The scam based society is a pile of paper stacked up around a weak oligarchy of people who hate nature and fear the natural law.

Externalized/Corporatized "Identity"

A fairly common tactic for subjugating and controlling large groups of people is to form them into a legal entity. The native tribes in the United States, for example, were repeatedly pushed into deals with the feds via armed conflict. In more recent decades, various groups basically moved out of the "natural culture" into a bureaucratically and legally controlled culture. Women, and "minorities", and other protected classes ended up being sometime wards of the state.

The leaders of the native tribes in the United States struck deals with the feds, while the minority groups and women got spokesmen and women who were often placed by government agencies, like the CIA or the FBI.

An aspect of that infiltration of natural culture via bureaucracy is the externalization and corporation of "identity". People's characteristics and habits are converted into a legal description. The media is an important element in that subversion of individuals. It provides models of those habits and characteristics in TV and movies. The education system also plays a role in legitimizing that legal description of a person as a representative of a group.

This method of subjugation expands the bureaucratic and legalistic realm of human life and shrinks the natural culture. The relationships between people are engineered rather than natural. The natural culture changes slowly and accumulates knowledge and techniques through trial and error and exposure to a wide range of conditions. The laws that govern family life today, for example, were an a posteriori codification of practices that accumulated over centuries. The relationship between men and women and children followed from the natural law and slowly adapted to new ways of life.

An attempt to engineer relationships between people is doomed and foolhardy as Mao's campaign to kill sparrows.

It seems like there's some inflection point where civilizations go off the rails. The set of technologies and methods that propel it to a certain size and level of consumption include some hidden flaw that makes them very unstable. For example, if a civilization relies on a particular commodity, a sustained disruption of supply can destroy the systems that keep it going.

The west has been infiltrated by a hostile, alien culture that relies on systems to enslave its people. It's literally a paper monster that scams and schemes. It turns everything into toy models and simulacra of nature.

Corporate Religion and Comic Book Movies

I watched a pretty good breakdown of the mythological basis of the Avengers: Endgame movie yesterday. The author of that video does a good job identifying which comic book characters are which Olympian gods. I won't duplicate any of that here, rather, I want to point out how odd it is that characters that are several thousand years old keep being recycled in stories and really the same story is told over and over again ad nauseam. The same pantheon of "gods", really beloved characters, spans the globe and has many names. The Norse gods, for example, are very similar to the Olympian Gods, who were very similar to the Egyptian gods.

There are a handful of plausible explanations for this. There's an old book that tackles this subject: Anacalypsis which proposes that there was a worldwide religion at some point in the remote past. Other people have argued that the pantheon of gods are really like an artifact that shows the peoples of the western world have a common origin--the Indo-Europeans. More modern explanations for this phenomenon revolve around psychology, really "natural psychology", and argue that the pantheon represents some built-in archetypes in the human mind.

None of that speculation, however, directly explains why Hollyweird makes the same movie and recycles the same characters over and over again. Is there a lineage of priests from the classical era that survived to our time? That's the really interesting point to ponder.

I think it's plausible it did.

Really, what is religion? The classical world religions were really corporations. Religion was corporatized at some point in the remote, forgotten pre-historic civilizations of the Mediterranean. The Temple of Mercury in Rome, for example, was basically a shopping mall. I pointed out in older posts that it was really the mainstream corporate media of its day. As a corporation, it didn't depend on the life of any one individual, and as a corporation it has very little ability to create.

Corporations are a way for individuals to externalize agency and will. For some people the corporate voice is "the voice of god".

I think it's really plausible that the pantheon of gods that show up again and again in movies and stories are ancient advertising characters that weren't even invented by the priests who worshipped and celebrated them. They might have been plucked from ancient folk stories and assembled into a collection.

Benevolent Societies versus the Modern Fake Militias

There's a bunch of manufactured news and excitement around some gun owner rally in Virginia tomorrow, January 20, 2020. I haven't followed the story too closely, but it seems like the feds, the state government, and probably even some Canadian intelligence agency, lol, is involved in setting up some "militia" or paramilitary organization. For decades, TV shows and movies, and live-action role play dramatists have been setting up the concept of "right wing ethnic extremists" in the United States. There are real, actual people who fit that description in the US, but it's a tiny, tiny number. I doubt they'd even fill a short bus.

It's interesting that so much effort goes into undermining such groups... to the point that they have to create them out of whole cloth to pre-emptively undermine them and constantly generate stories in the media about the concept. The government bureaucracy is terrified that people, specifically rural and suburban people, the yeomanry, will organize in any way beyond the most pedestrian community and school organizations.

A militia or a paramilitary organization is probably the least beneficial and useful thing people can organize. There's 100% chance that any such organization larger than 5 people is completely infiltrated and at best is a honey pot.

Something like The Grange or other benevolent brotherhoods would probably help people out much more today. In prior eras, such organizations provided life insurance, health insurance, and similar services for people.

"The Right Wing Anti Government Extremist" Archetype and Virginia

For several years hollywood has been selling the "right wing extremist" archetype in various movies and TV shows. The only one I remember distinctly, because it was so ham fisted, was a villain in the TV show Longmire. One of the characteristics the "they" portray in association with the "right wing extremist" is he's anti law enforcement, which doesn't really seem to gibe with the stance of the typical right winger. It's interesting they push that concept so hard, though. There's probably a lot of "right wing" police.

In the episodes, the right wing group kidnaps and murders several government agents and tortures the female cop/love interest of the title character Walt Longmire, who, by the way, is a rugged individualist/no-nonsense sheriff in Wyoming. It's not clear what his political beliefs are, but it seems unlikely he'd be a cosmopolitan commie.

Anyway, you can really see how this propaganda works. They push out a story line over and over again to form the narrative framework in people's minds several years in advance. Finally, they can stage some event and then tell the story in the news as if it happened per their description. In Virginia, for example, the governor, who's probably some totally blackmailed human POS is characterizing gun-rights militia groups, which are probably complete fabrications of the CIA/FBI, as right wing extremists.

The tax farming/financialized system is parasitic and pervasive in nature. You can't even fight it with a gun. In the United States, at least, if you're in Virginia, a simple way to "fight it" is by moving to West Virginia or some other state. You take your assets and your productivity with you. The government loses access to your life energy.

Gun Laws--Manufacturing Sides of a Conflict

The 2016 presidential election showed that there's a distinct split in the population between cities and rural and suburban populations in the US. The rural/suburban population are adherents of the ideals of Jeffersonian Democracy more or less. The cosmopolitan populations are adherents of federalism and are in patronage networks of the government and financial system. The cosmopolitans actively hate and fear the more rural population, apparently. The rural population doesn't really seem to care or think very much about the cosmopolitans.

Gun ownership and regulation of gun ownership is one of the major sticking points between these groups. From my perspective, it's a nonsense divide and conquer issue. Gun enthusiasts see a steady erosion of gun "rights" as slippery slope existential threat. They fail to see it as a divide and conquer con game. The cosmopolitans are afraid of the rural and suburban population, because they do expect an uprising of the general population against their parasitic institutions. At the same time, they're not concerned at all with urban populations who commit the most crime with guns.

In the US system, "the people"--really the suburban and rural people--are the last line of defense against a tyrannical government. However, "the people" aren't organized at all and only rally around nonsensical issues that are settled within the legalistic structure of the system that, at this point, is completely infiltrated and corrupt and hostile to the people.

The fears of both groups are pretty misplaced and manufactured. It's pretty interesting to see how the cosmopolitans are now using state's rights in plaes like Virginia and California to assert more control over individuals in a switcheroo of prior eras where "conservatives" used the states' rights to attenuate Federal government mandates and controls. I haven't really bothered to look beyond the headlines of the Virginia gun nonsense. It seems very fake. Chances are, if you're in a hard-right wing group, it's a honey pot run by a "federal government" (5th column infiltrated) agent.

Leaking Sovereignty: Racketeering by Government and Corporations

There's a pretty common tax, fee, and fine farming setup around the United States. A local government will make a contract with a corporation to collect taxes and fines or fees. The corporation might have some official sounding name, but will in fact be a privately owned entity that skims a sizable portion of the tax and fee revenue from the deal.

A story that went viral last year about Dunedin, Florida got me thinking about how individuals get screwed by entities  that enter into such deals on their behalf. That city green lights a racketeering operation that fines citizens for petty ordinance violations, like uncut lawns, that in some cases totaled $10,000+. It creates ordinances to favor the company and to extract money from the citizens it is supposed to represent.

The examples like Dunedin, or local tax "collection" agencies with official sounding names are just the most recent versions of the deals that destroyed native american tribes. It's probably trivially easy for a corporation to hijack some jurisdiction and operate these scams at full blast.

Donald Bush the 99th

Well, fuck. Trumptard and his mafia are wading us into WWIII after all. Does Trump call any shots at all, or is he just a script reader? It'd be interesting to know.

Anyway, good luck to everyone out there. I hope few lives are lost over this nonsense and the losses are confined to government leaders.

Trump: Just the Latest Puppet

When Trump was running for el presidente, his advertising campaign included themes of "America First" anti-intervention policies that his people scraped from the Internet. Trump's just another same old same old front man for the merchant empire. Iraq voted to kick the United States corporation out of the country, but now Trump claims the US won't leave unless its repaid for the military installations taxpayers funded there for the corporate US, which is pretty absurd and probably will piss the Iraqis off more. Trump's statement is just more off the cuff rando bluster.

There's no way a true populist president would be the nominee of one of the major parties. The choice is between advertising campaign flavors, really. The federal government is 100% controlled and operated by what's essentially a hostile 5th column.

LARPed to Death

One of the weirder aspects of humanity is we have a number of ways to record events, like writing, and oral traditions, but our history is 99.9% unreliable, and the recorded histories we do have only pertain to a handful of people and only reach back to the fairly recent past.

I think one of the reasons history is so unreliable is individuals and groups present a fantastical, mythologized version of themselves to the world. Social media allows even normal people to do that on a daily basis. It invites them to present a fantasy version of their life as their day-to-day reality. To preserve the myth, history is edited and forgotten.

Whole nations and religions do this--they're basically corporate entities that are embedded in a people. There's probably no more glaring case of it than Israel. It's like a nation of conscious LARPers who maybe don't really believe their story... they're like liars who try to force other people to acquiesce to their fantasy to make it credible. That's pretty fucked up.

Communism was really very similar... a new delusion that tried to force belief.

Let's Be Switzerland Redux

Empire is a Vampire. Look at the cracked out old empires of Europe, and probably the best example: Russia. Russia is a nation with immense natural resources and brilliant people, but has suffered under the misrule of degenerates and inbreds for endless centuries. The US is currently suffering this same fate... This is a repost of an old post. No point in rewriting this:

The United States was not directly involved in Europe's great game bullshit for several decades after its founding. The Monroe Doctrine was a formal statement of the anti-Europe stance. However, the US got sucked into great game nonsense through the 19th century, then took a seat at the game table in the hellish 20th century.

In a lot of ways, the contemporary United States looks like a scheme to fund the cabal of people who play at the games of international intrigue and war. The popular "culture" of the United States seems to be engineered to obscure its structure and to keep people in the heartland of the nation believing the wars and schemes their blood and treasure support are in their own interest. Professional sports businesses receive millions in taxpayer funding to cheerlead for wars.

Even now, as people witness entire cities collapsing for want of funds oceans of money flow to dark, idiotic imperial schemes in dusty, poor corners of the world, the people can't quite conceptualize the problem. They know something's wrong, and have an emotional reaction as they look to men like Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders to solve their problems rather than asserting their own interests.

An example for the United States to follow is provided by modern Switzerland. The US would not get involved in foreign entanglements and the people would zealously guard their freedoms and their interests. They would reject the groups and people who attempt to drag them into old world politics. This concept is derived directly from the nation's intellectual history: it's the idea of Jeffersonian Democracy.

Prepper Mode: Enabled

God dammit.

I've had plans to buy a generator on hold for the past several months, but it's time to pull the trigger. So that's another errand and chore to wire it into the household power, etc... Oh well.

Anyway, I think there's more than a remote  possibility that any true fag false flag attack on the US will involve "cyber hacker forces" of "iran", where some corporations and the gov't will collude to shut down power and blame it on Iran's goombahs.

It's probably not a bad idea to load up on food fuel, and miscellaneous supplies. What a fucking waste.

Don't Get Involved in the Mafia Wars!

The Trump administration mafia just whacked some goombah in the Iran mafia. If Iran retaliates, I hope it's against some mafiosi in the government. That's the way wars should be. The people who benefit from the payola and scams and schemes of the governments should face the consequences of fighting.... I hope there's no false flag bullshit in the US to sucker us into WW3. Jesus fucking christ.

The Empire Needs Degenerates II

The corporate/consumer culture is really built on "degeneracy". I think the trad-cons are correct in their analysis of this point. The "empire", really just the banks and corporations, attack the family, and the traditional roles of men, women, and children to turn them into isolated soul-less minions to extract obedience and wealth. It also removes all motives except the motive to acquire fake money tokens and various paper forms of wealth.

The attacks are pretty feeble, but constant and ubiquitous. It's like a constant beating with a million Q-tips. If people organized, it would be trivial to end the attack, but the whole point is to keep people from organizing.

A life that's based on honor or religious devotion is usually, necessarily, a simple life because it subordinates a person's existence to some creed or code. Acquisition of wealth usually doesn't jibe with those ideals.

Unfortunately, it's possible to build empires on scams based on honor and religious devotion, too. The devotion and service of warriors or priests has been exploited by evil men at least as much as degeneracy, effeminacy and personal softness. Obedience as a virtue can render a good, honorable warrior into a slave of a perverse, corrupt master.

The whole and complete human exercises choice and agency and is the servant of no man, no code, and no law. He's not a citizen. He's not a soldier. There are really very few historical examples of these people. I can only think of a handful off the top of my head. Johnny Appleseed is one interesting case.

Narrative Control/Mind Control

Some groups and individuals externalize their identity into a "thing". The notion of corporate "branding" is a prime example. Some corporations put a lot of money and resources into publicizing a story, mythological version of what they are. That thing is like a koan in that it only exists in the minds of the people who pay attention to it or think about it. Unlike the koan, it's not really an active, living thought-form it's a static, dumb dead thing. Individuals who do that are the lifetime actor type. They promote a stage version of who they are. In some cases that persona is promoted and advertised like a corporate brand.

The SJWs--mainly "jewish" organizations like the ADL--attempt to brand "white people" as evil through slander and repetition of tropes on corporate media outlets like CNN. White people don't promote some corporate version of who they are except in jest and parody. "Like the wheel? How about that car? Thanks white man." Groups like the ADL flip out about that stuff.

So much effort and money goes into this slander campaign, but I think it's really back firing pretty spectacularly. I wonder if the people who do have a corporate identity have no individual identity. Maybe when you're very far removed from concepts like honor, and are a 100% subversive trickster persona, you have no individual identity.

Rejecting Corporate Identity

Every government, including the US government, is terrified that its population will wake up and realize that it's run by grifters for their own purposes. The notion that some dumb fuck weirdo actor like Joe Biden can make any positive contribution to the quality of life  of some random person in the US is absurd. The governments go to great lengths to advertise their legitimacy and keep people invested in their corporate identity and viciously go after people who threaten the corporate scam.

A notable contemporary case of a man rejecting the legitimacy of the US government is provided by Robert Beale. A Revolutionary War case is provided by Samuel Mason. The Whiskey Rebellion was another example from that early era of the US.

Beale--the father of Theodore Beale (aka Vox Day, aka Teddy Spaghetti) was a tax protester in the early 90s. He and Irwin Schiff basically rejected the sovereignty and authority of the feds, mainly because the US had been coopted by the Empire of Butt Fuckers by that time. They stopped paying their taxes and ended up in court, and then finally in jail because of it. Schiff died in jail and Beale served a very long sentence. Beale made a literal mockery of the court--he served a subpoena to a judge from a court he and his buddies had convened. The alt media has its roots in that movement.

Sam Mason and the Whiskey Rebellion are really similar cases. The people who were on the frontier or who had actually participated in the revolutionary war had little reason to accept the authority and legitimacy of the federales. Mason turned into an actual river pirate/murderer and was hunted down and killed.
