The Rainbow Curtain

When I was in my early 20's, I was one of those people that thought Europe was somehow, in some mysterious way, more sophisticated and "newer" than the United States. I'm not really sure where I got that idea--maybe in college. Of course in Europe, many people had the reverse idea--that everything in the United States was new and more interesting and open.

Now the EU is threatening to impose visa restrictions on US citizens, which is probably just pre-2020 campaign posturing on behalf of socialist/globalist candidates in the US election. The EU is prepared to forgo billions of dollars of tourism business to spite its political rival in an election cycle. I don't really believe that's going to work out.

The rainbow curtain, or the red fog replaced the east bloc. The new cold war is inside the borders of the former free world. I never could have imagined such a turn back in the 1990s or 2000s. It seems like the commies are manufacturing a war. Maybe it's on behalf of the god awful Chinese totalitarians.
