Christianity dissolved the tribal European cultures and amalgamated people into nations. The religion of Christianity was also transformed along the way, and became European. That process took hundreds of years. There were still people worshiping Odin as late as 900AD/1000AD in northern Europe.
The Jews show up pretty late in that process, at least in England. They arrived with the Normans and William the Conqueror. Their mutual history is pretty murky. The Normans were the Danish people (the Vikings) who settled in Northern France after hundreds of years of warfare and raiding from their base in northern Europe. That's anachronistically depicted in the History channel series Vikings where Rollo settles in France after the Vikings after Ragnar sack Paris.
It's possible the jews identified the Normans as the "Tribe of Dan" from the bible. (It's also possible the bible was all written retrospectively and is entirely counterfeit.) If anything in the bible is historical, then possibly the Normans were related to the Phoenicians, and the tribe of Dan. Their runes and the Phoenician alphabet seem similar. The Normans as the "Tribe of Dan" might explain the obsession of Europeans with the dusty old Levant and Israel. The timeline doesn't match up at all with the Biblical account.
Anyway, the European tribes had been in conflict for hundreds of years--really probably thousands of years. In fact, all of history prior to Christianity was tribes fighting with other tribes. At times, multi-ethnic Empires popped up, like Alexander the Great, or the Romans. Those Empires were a sort of blueprint of how to rule a multi-ethnic state: replace the religion and tribal identity of the people with worship and idolatry of the new rulers. None of those Empires really held up, though.
Over time, the christianized Europeans become one people, but the Jews didn't meld into that group and retained a separate, and thus adversarial identity. The Amish are sort of similar today, and maybe other ethnic/religious groups of European people like the Mormons are similar. Their religion reforms them into more of a tribe and sets them apart.
It seems like at least some jews converted their cultural identity into maintaining a secret adversarial/hostile stance against their European neighbors, and they invest all their energy in trying to subvert and dominate those people. The Europeans were freed from their tribal history, and engaged in solving universal problems, and to engage with nature and the universe more directly, instead of being bogged down in endless scams and schemes.
Scams like communism and banking are an attempt to launder the hostile beliefs of one of the European tribes, the "jews", into "universal" ideas, when in fact they're just a scam and propaganda. That process of brainwashing people for generations seems to be, for some sect of humanity, the way to glue together an arbitrary group into a new ersatz tribe. Maybe the progenitors of this scheme were the Macedonians and the Greek philosophers. This method of building an Empire was utilized by the Ptolemy family in Egypt.
